Project 2024

Looking ahead to its centenary in 1974, CC decided to celebrate the next rather than the last one hundred years. They asked themselves: How can we do what we do better?  They came up with an answer. The Block Plan.

“What if CC did something similar on the occasion of its 150th,” President Richardson asked in the summer of 2021. And ask the question How can CC best meet the challenges higher education faces today? Call it Project 2024 and invite the entire CC community to talk about how to capitalize on our unique strengths in order to meet the future.

Project 2024 Steering Committee Members

“Throughout Project 2024, I valued the opportunity to collaborate with students, faculty, and staff across the college. I also truly appreciated how the process brought out the value of connection and our sustained commitment to the liberal arts.”
Marion Hourdequin, Project 2024 Steering Committee member
